Role Summary/Purpose

To support the simplification leader on standardization, process harmonization/improvement and digitization of processes that are identified as priorities with Italian HR council. To transition simplified processes to GBS

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead Simplification initiatives with the GE HR council in Italy
• Identify 2012 simplification opportunities and priorities with manager
• Simplify key HR processes upfront to enable better and more efficient transitions to shared services centre
• Prepare and keep up to date detailed project documentation, process mapping, measurement of processes,
• Design standardized “best in class” processes with minimal variations
• Interact with businesses HRA for process analysis and with GBS HR Ops team for operational best practice definition
• Facilitate the re-design of business processes, including identifying & clarifying, issues and facilitating changes directed at attaining the highest levels of customer service, effectiveness, efficiency, control and compliance

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer focus with controllership and practical mind-set • Ability to build credibility with the customer• Good communication & presentation skills in both Italian & English• High level of focus on quality and levels of accuracy• Used to work on a project mode• Strong analytical skills, data driven• Understanding of transactional HR processes• Ability to design new processes and validate them,• Understand drivers for change
